We received the exciting news that state mandates have been lifted. Monday June 1st we will be reopening our doors at all Defined Fitness Albuquerque, Rio Rancho and Farmington clubs. While some of the experience in our clubs may look different in the coming weeks as we begin the process of rebuilding together, this is our first positive step towards a new beginning.
Exactly 75 days ago we closed our doors for the first time in over 32 years. We have served our members and the New Mexico community for over 11,000 days over the three decades we have been open. Even though we were closed temporarily you were never far from our hearts. You have motivated us to be better. We worked tirelessly every day during our closure to be in a position to open our doors better than we were before.
We missed seeing you in our gyms, but found a new joy in seeing you join our live online classes. While we missed hearing a club full of your voices we still heard you on social media, online and through emails. What we heard and saw was an outpouring of support and appreciation from all of you during our closure. We could not be more grateful for those kind words and reminders of why we are all here: to inspire, empower and support each other to be better, stronger and healthier together.
I hope you have all come to realize, as I have, the importance of our health and the amazing community of support we have at Defined Fitness. We have missed our team and our members greatly during this time. Thank you for your unwavering loyalty and allowing us to be a part of your daily lives. We are able to reopen our doors because of you. Again, thank you.
Please review the list of some of the changes you can expect to see as we work to keep our communities safe when we open, as well as our full operations plan which outlines the extensive work we have done to protect our members. We will continue to follow state mandates and protocols for health and safety, and lead our state in providing the best in health and fitness.
