The Rio Rancho Community Foundation is a primary source for philanthropy within Sandoval County. We connect people, non-profits and resources to benefit all within the Region. We work with non-profits and philanthropists to raise money so that organizations have the resources to make an impact in our community.
Founded in 2007, the Rio Rancho Community Foundation is a tax-exempt 501(c)3 with a mission to promote charitable activities and excellence in community affairs within the City of Rio Rancho, communities in Sandoval County and Albuquerque’s Westside.
The Rio Rancho Community Foundation receives funding through several sources including endowments, bequests, donations, memorials and its signature annual fundraising events, “The Mayor’s Gala”. The Foundation administers grants to nonprofit (501c3) organizations on an annual basis.
The Foundation has raised money to support a wide range of organizations develop to deliver a personal approach to charitable giving. Our largest fundraiser of the year is the Mayors Gala which is held annually in the fall, and we gladly accept donations throughout the year at the Rio Rancho Regional Chamber of Commerce Location. Whether you’re an aspiring new donor, a philanthropist, or would like to amplify your effectiveness in giving, you can help us develop a giving strategy benefiting a wide range of organizations.
